Oh gosh....its horrible! On my work trip in Germany last week, someone was actually wearing a similar outfit to your first picture IN THE OFFICE! I was horrified!
I've seen several college women who seem to think this look is "business casual" and appropriate for sorority chapter meetings. Maybe I'm just getting old. :)
